How do I book an appointment?
Online, on the booking page. Choose a service, pick a day and time, and enter your name, email and phone. You will get a confirmation by email.
How far ahead do I need to book?
Online booking closes 24 hours before the appointment time. If you need something sooner, call (217) 386-6886 and Ashley will tell you if she can fit you in.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes. You can cancel online up to 24 hours before your appointment, and reschedule up to 12 hours before it, from the links in your confirmation email or under My Bookings. Inside that window, call.
When do I pay?
At your appointment. Nothing is charged when you book online.

Ashley. She is a licensed esthetician, she owns Spathetics, and she does every service herself.

Which facial should I book for my first visit?
If you are not sure, book the Deluxe Facial. It is the most booked facial at Spathetics and covers the full routine: deep cleansing with steam, an enzyme peel, gentle extractions, massage of the face, neck and shoulders, and a custom mask.
How often should I get a facial?
Skin renews itself about every four to six weeks, so most people who get regular facials book about once a month. A single facial before an event, or a few through the year, is still worth doing.
Will my face be red afterward?
Some pinkness for a few hours is normal, mostly where extractions were done. If you can, plan to go without makeup for the rest of the day.
What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination uses a gentle setting solution to relax the brow hairs so they can be brushed into place and set there. Brows look fuller and more defined, and the result lasts for several weeks without daily styling.
What is the difference between a brow tint and brow lamination?
Tint changes the color: a semi-permanent dye darkens the brow hairs and fills sparse areas for a few weeks. Lamination changes the direction: it sets the hairs in place. They are often booked together, with a wax to finish the shape.
Which brow service is booked most?
Brow Lamination + Tint + Wax, all three in one appointment, followed by Brow Tint & Wax.
What is the difference between a lash lift and lash clusters?
A lash lift and tint works on your own lashes: they are curled upward with a lifting solution and then tinted darker, and the result lasts for several weeks. Lash clusters are small groups of lashes applied to your natural lashes for more volume, and they last up to 7 days.
Do I still need mascara after a lash lift and tint?
Most people skip it. The lift curls the lashes and the tint darkens them, which is the look mascara gives.
How long does a lash lift and tint take?
About an hour. It is the most booked service at Spathetics.
How long does hair need to be for waxing?
About a quarter of an inch, roughly the length of a grain of rice. Shorter than that and the wax has little to hold on to.
How long does waxing last?
Usually a few weeks. The hair is removed from the root, so it takes much longer to grow back than after shaving.
Can I get my brows waxed and tinted in one visit?
Yes. Book Brow Tint & Wax, or add lamination with Brow Lamination + Tint + Wax.
