What it is
Warm wax is applied to the chin and removed quickly, taking stray or coarse hairs with it. It is a short appointment with a longer-lasting result than tweezing or shaving.

How long does hair need to be for waxing?
About a quarter of an inch, roughly the length of a grain of rice. Shorter than that and the wax has little to hold on to.
How long does waxing last?
Usually a few weeks. The hair is removed from the root, so it takes much longer to grow back than after shaving.
